On March 1, 2026, the Minister for Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups, Hon. Dr. Dorothy Gwajima, participated in and officiated the Marathon organized by the Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC), held at Mnazi Mmoja in Dar es Salaam. The event was held under the theme “Run for Women’s Empowerment.
Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) has won the Best Female Entrepreneur Participation Award for the fifth consecutive time at the 49th Sabasaba exhibition in 2025. The award was received today by TWCC President CPA Mercy Sila and was presented by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Hon. Dr. Selemani Saidi Jafo, during the closing ceremony of the exhibition.
On 02/07/2025, Minister for Industry and Trade Dr. Selemani Jafo visited the TWCC pavilion at the 49th Sabasaba exhibition and saw innovative, high-quality products from over 200 members.
